How do I know if my child needs therapy?
Mastery of various speech and language developmental milestones can vary across a wide age range. Therefore, it is sometimes challenging for parents to know if their child is delayed and needs therapy. A comprehensive evaluation can help determine if your child is within the normal range, or if they would benefit from speech-language services. An evaluation can help to identify areas of strength and weakness, and is a helpful tool in creating therapy goals and making appropriate recommendations.
What types of conditions do you treat?
We see and treat patients for a wide range of conditions and diagnoses. Please visit our Services page for an extensive list of conditions and diagnoses we see patients for.
How long will my child need therapy?
Treatment duration depends on your child's diagnosis, the severity of their impairments, their past medical history, and other factors. Re-evaluations will be completed periodically, as well as progress reports to ensure that your child is making adequate gains towards mastery of their goals.
